Welcome to the newsletter, and I’m excited to talk about everything new regarding the boy band and their universe.
Hi storycatchers! I’ve missed talking to you folks on the CANON. I want to thank you for the love you’re continuing to show Apple Hair, whether that be through sharing my posts, commenting on my Notes, or just liking my content on socials. It’s fun being an indie author. At the same time, it can be hard—I shared quite a bit about that. Knowing I have other authors beside me and that I have a supportive community has been so key for me this season.
What is new for you this season, in the first quarter of 2026?
Something I want to talk about is keeping the dream alive.
So many times, we let our initial passion fade away. It’s why so many people stop writing a book, even when they had big dreams for their world and characters. It’s why people leave the life of an author or creator.
Somewhere along the way, we lose motivation. Trust me, I know about this firsthand. When this happens, I flip through some of the pages of my novel and tell myself I really did that.
I know my generation gets a lot of heat for doing things like affirmations and positivity journals. At the same time, it is so important to remind ourselves that we really are worth it. We can make it as creators! We are capable, and we can do great things! We don’t have to listen to the statistics about just how likely it is to “make it.” When we focus and move forward, we build something that goes beyond percentages.
I am cheering you on. And I picture the boys of Apple Hair also giving you a prayer and a boost.

Keep your eyes peeled for the official cover reveal and the launch date! The title of it already explains quite a lot, but I know it will surprise you. I want this story to warm your heart. For some of you going through polar plunges, it will definitely do the trick.
